September 6, 2006, on the cusp of the Pike Place Market's 100th Anniversary, I took my trusty Nikon and ventured out as things were wrapping up. So from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, starting from the North end of the upper level market, I made my way to the South entrance by the big sign. No flash. I was going for just an honest, raw, basic experience of what the market is like and to show some appreciation for the hard working people that make the farmers' market what it is for everyone.
